Taste Wines from Chianti Classico!
Presented by Wine Spectator senior editor Bruce Sanderson, this seminar explores the new Gran Selezione designation of Chianti Classico, a wine region in Tuscany who's history dates back to the 15th century. One of the finest expressions of Sangiovese comes from the hills of Chianti Classico, yet Chianti Classico is often confused with the larger Chianti geographical area surrounding it. To elevate the quality in the Chianti Classico DOCG, the designation Gran Selezione was created, which indicates that a wine has been made exclusively from estate grapes. Sanderson will take you through a tasting of six wines that exemplify the character and longevity of Gran Selezione wines from Chianti Classico.
