Description
An Evening of Japanese Innovation
French meets cutting edge Japanese cuisine when four renowned chefs collaborate on a once-in-a-lifetime meal at Untitled, The Whitney’s much-celebrated restaurant. We invite you to join Greg Baxtrom, chef-owner of Brooklyn’s beloved Olmstead and the recently opened French-Japanese concept bistro Maison Yaki, as he joins three fellow tastemakers, masters of Japanese cuisine Nick Kim and Jimmy Lau and Untitled’s Suzannne Cupps.
When Nick Kim and Jimmy Lau opened Shuko in 2014, it quickly became one of New York City’s hottest Japanese restaurants, garnering an impressive three-star review from The New York Times. You’ll be treated to a night of incredible, innovative cuisine as Kim and Lau impress you with mouth-watering sushi and high-end Japanese food and you indulge in flavor creations from Executive Chef of Untitled, Suzanne Cupps and Baxtrom. This unforgettable collaboration is a treat of masterfully-crafted cuisine, designed especially for NYCWFF guests.
Wine pairings will be provided by Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits.
