DESCRIPTION
Last year, New York City's culinary scene got a major shakeup with the opening of Jean-Georges Vongerichten's 425. But it's not just the famous chef's name that has everyone talking. Teaming up with the highly skilled and experienced Jonathan Benno, formerly of Lincoln Ristorante and Per Se, Vongerichten has created a powerhouse kitchen. Benno, a culinary veteran, takes the lead at 425, adding his own talent to Vongerichten's established reputation
For this very special dinner, Chef Benno is partnering with Gregory Courdet, a native New Yorker, “Top Chef” finalist, and Chef at lauded Haitian restaurant, Kann in Portland, Oregon.
Together, Chefs Benno and Gourdet are going to cook up a dreamy menu together that will marry the flavors of America, Italy, Haiti, and beyond, all in the cool confines of the Norman Foster-designed 425 on Park Avenue in Manhattan.
Expect big flavors and eye-popping plate presentations at this exclusive and appetizing feast from two very skillful and beloved chefs in a restaurant where securing a table is like hitting an edible jackpot. On this night, though, you’re in luck: you not only get a seat at the table but can experience one truly inventive and marvelous meal.
Wine pairings will be provided by Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits.
