DESCRIPTION

Brooklyn may be only one of New York City’s five boroughs, but it's the hottest meal ticket in America. It sets the food trends and is the epicenter of culinary cool—where knock-your-socks-off no-frills eateries share the spotlight with Michelin-starred restaurants serving up the best meals of your life.

It’s no surprise that the Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival is now making Brooklyn Army Terminal its new home to keep the culinary vibes rolling.

Say hello to Brooklyn Beats & Eats, NYCWFF’s kick-off event at Invesco QQQ Campus at Brooklyn Army Terminal. This edible celebration of all things Brooklyn will be a festive, walk-around tasting featuring the borough’s top chefs and food personalities.

We’re thrilled to welcome some of Brooklyn’s finest culinary stars as hosts of this kick-off extravaganza: Michael Solomonov, chef/co-owner of the rooftop Israeli hotspot Laser Wolf; Sean Feeney, co-owner of the sizzling Italian joints Misi and Lilia; Esther Choi, chef of the inventive Korean gem mökbar and co-host of Food Network’s “24 in 24: Last Chef Standing;" Bill Durney, the pitmaster and owner of Hometown BBQ and Red Hook Tavern; and Mark Iacono, the beloved pizzaiolo of Lucali. Get ready for a Brooklyn eating extravaganza.

And to kick things up another notch, musical and cultural icons Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg will be in the house, hanging out and serving up their premium ready-to-drink cocktail Gin & Juice By Dre and Snoop.

Local DJ’s including iHeart Radio's Steven “DJ Suss One” Sussman will be spinning tunes, drinks will be flowing and fabulous food—everything from burgers to tacos to pasta and more—will be there for the taking, cooked up by Brooklyn’s top chefs.

Come hungry and ready to celebrate the culinary bounty that Brooklyn has to offer.
