When Cafe Spaghetti first fired up its pasta-cooking burners in Brooklyn’s Carroll Gardens in 2022, it was an instant hit. Chef and owner Salvatore Lamboglia’s hearty Italian-American cuisine hit the spot with everyone—from regular folk to foodies to restaurant critics.
For this special Festival lunch at Cafe Spaghetti, Chef Lamboglia is teaming up with the talented Jonathan Melendez, Executive Chef at Casa Mono. The two very skilled chefs will bring their own styles and techniques to this Brooklyn lunch to create something magical and delicious, a procession of plates that will feature fresh, seasonal ingredients with an Italian-American accent.
On the menu, guests can find Fluke Crudo (Coconut leche de tigre, carrot preserve), Cavatelli (White lobster sugo, XO sauce) and Flan Mousse (Pedro Ximenez sherry figs, almond biscotti). Expect hearty Italian fare with a refined, elegant finishing touch at this one-of-a-kind, only-at-NYCWFF lunch in Brooklyn.
Wine pairings will be provided by Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits.
