An old standby and instant classic come together for this exciting dinning event. Anthony Ha and Sadie Mae Burns met in the kitchen at Mission Chinese and worked separately at some of the most respected restaurants in the city before deciding they liked cooking together better. The couple, both tri-state natives, opened Ha's Đặc Biệt, a Vietnamese pop up, in 2020 to immediate acclaim. These youngsters (they’re both under 30) are part of an exciting new group of chefs who took chances and struck out on their own during the pandemic. St. John Frizell also knows something about taking a chance as one of the partners who reopened the classic Brooklyn institution, Gage & Tollner. A critically acclaimed mixologist with a penchant for research and perfectly made cocktails, Frizell will add his expertly poured, inventive iterations of classic drinks to complement the menu. As part of the Eater series, this meal will combine global influence with a NYC stalwart for four courses of explosive flavor paired with iterations of classic cocktails to complement.
Wine and spirits will be provided by Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits.
