When Gallic-born Gautier and Ashley Coiffard moved to New York City, they had a big problem: they couldn’t find any high-quality French bread. So they decided to make some themselves. They began selling it out of their Brooklyn apartment, which was in 4F. And it became a pandemic-era sensation.
