DESCRIPTION
France and Italy Collide in the Kitchen
American-born Chef Daniel Rose has accomplished something few have before him: a foreign-born chef winning over the Parisian palate. Chef Rose trained in Lyon and cooked in Brussels before coming to Paris and opening a couple of very successful classically French restaurants. He's now doing the same in New York City with his acclaimed lower Manhattan eatery Le Coucou, which won the James Beard Award for Best New Restaurant in the country. Cesare Casella is Tuscany personified. The Lucca-born chef has dazzled New Yorkers with his dynamic-yet-simple Italian fare.
At this sit down lunch at Le Coucou, you'll get to experience what it would taste like if France and Italy somehow collided. This will be one meal you will want to attend, guaranteeing to put some gusto and gustation in your Saturday lunch plans.
Wine pairings will be provided by Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits.
