DESCRIPTION
Pack your bags for an edible trip around the Mediterranean. We’re pairing up Antonia Lofaso, a regular face on the Food Network and chef of buzzy Italian-accented Los Angeles restaurants Black Market Liquor Bar, Scopa Italian Roots and DAMA, with Ayesha Nurdjaja, the chef of Shukette, the always packed eastern Mediterranean and North African eatery in Chelsea. These chefs share a few common bonds: they’re both from New York and they both share Italian heritage.
Imagine the possibilities when two culinary icons join forces. This isn't just a meal; it's a journey across the entire Mediterranean, masterfully orchestrated by these uber-talented chefs. Get ready for an inspiring menu that bursts with flavor, showcasing the vibrancy of the region on a single plate.
This fabulous feast is taking place in downtown Manhattan at legendary Delmonico’s, known as America's first and oldest fine dining restaurant and oozing with so much historic ambience that the restaurant alone is worth attending this meal.
Wine pairings will be provided by Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits.
