What happens when a Korean steakhouse meets Indian fried chicken? You’ll find out at this lunch with Chefs David Shim and Chintan Pandya and restaurateurs Simon Kim and Roni Mazumdar. It’s hard enough to get a reservation at any one of their restaurants, so the opportunity to taste food from both chefs in one meal as part of the Eater series at NYCWFF is an exceptional occurrence. We can’t wait to see how their menu pairs Indian spices and Korean techniques for a truly exceptional dining experience. Chef Shim cooked at Gramercy Tavern, L’atelier de Joël Robuchon and M. Wells Steakhouse before opening his dream Korean steakhouse with renowned restaurateur Simon Kim – Michelin starred NYC and Miami hot spot COTE. Chef Pandya is behind the hottest Indian restaurants in New York City including Dhamaka, Semma and Rowdy Rooster with his Unapologetic Foods partner Roni Mazumdar. New York is lucky that these amazing chefs and businessmen call the city home, and NYCWFF is lucky they've agreed to prepare an epic lunch just for us!
