Biography

A Le Cordon Bleu graduate, born and raised in Miami Florida, I moved to NYC in 2017 and jumped in the restaurant business with ilili restaurant on 5th ave.

Being a third generation chef, I fell in love with cooking from a very young age. My grandfather was a chef for the US Navy, his passion for food, as well as story telling, was passed on to my father and then myself. We all have built strong bonds around the kitchen table.

What is your favorite NYC restaurant? And what is your go-to dish? I am mostly in my own kitchen, but I do love Spanish tapas. Sangria 46 is my go to spot and the 'Tablado de Jamón, Chorizo y Queso' (the meat and cheese board) is a must have menu item. What is your ultimate meal? Funny enough, my wife's chicken tingas! What three things are always in your pantry? Cumin, honey, and hot sauce. If you weren't a chef, what would you be? I would love to be a professional video gamer. If you could cook with anyone, who would that be? My grandfather, rest his soul. What’s your favorite NYCWFF memory? Planing on making new memories, as this will be my first NYCWFF experience!
