Pies ‘n’ Thighs was hatched in 2006 in a 200 square-foot rented kitchen with six red stools in the back of the storied, now-defunct Rock Star Bar on a deserted corner of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Specializing in fried chicken, pulled pork, pies and biscuits, Pies ‘n’ Thighs was the first of a wave of Southern restaurants drawing crowds in New York City. We are now nationally known and the restaurant is neighborhood institution where regulars and tourists meet, eat, talk and relax while enjoying delicious comfort food in in Brooklyn.
