Chef Cenobio is also the Executive Chef for the popular Morgan’s Brooklyn Barbecue concept in Brooklyn. Morgan’s Brooklyn Barbecue appears on the Eater list of “New York’s Essential Barbecue Restaurants” as well as Thrillist’s “The 15 Best Barbecue Joints in NYC”.
Chef Cenobio has additionally served as the Executive Chef for GlazierWorks, the renowned family-led New York hospitality company headed up by second- generation restaurateur Mathew Glazier. For GlazierWorks, Chef Cenobio previously had roles as Executive Chef at Strip House and Michael Jordan’s The Steak House.
Chef Cenobio started his career decades ago in New York as a dishwasher before gradually mastering culinary arts on the job. Now slow-smoking what has been acknowledged critically as some of the best brisket in Brooklyn, he considers himself the true-life epitome of the American Dream. With a natural talent, easy smile and friendly attitude, Chef Cenobio credits his work ethic for his success.
