Hi I’m Chef San , Exec Chef & Co-Owner of Lula Mae

Born & Raised In Long Beach, California Where I grew up learning to love cooking and it gave me the thrive and passion about all food. To create and bring joy eating was always what kept me going. Working in several kitchens with many talented chefs, i learned about many different cuisines and the cultural philosophy of how everyone treats their style of food differently . After sometime my time in california was up and it was time to test myself. So i made the jump to move to New york. Further down the road the knowledge grew more an more and the techniques became more intricate which was what i loved. How to bring out the best of each ingredients just made me more and more fascinated about the never ending path of food. Now here we are. I got to open an amazing spot with amazing partners and i get to share my love of food how i see it with everyone who comes to dine. What a blessing.
