Since January 2018, the German Dirk Haltenhof acts as Executive Chef at Badrutt’s Palace Hotel. Prior to that, he spent 15 years working in various hotels around the world, his culinary journey took him to Malaysia, Macao-Hong Kong and Dubai, where he indulged his guests with creative food for Mandarin Oriental, Oberoi and Jumeirah. On his various stations Dirk was accompanied by his Japanese wife and two daughters, the family is very happy to have found a new home in St. Moritz. The team headed by chef Dirk Haltenhof is responsible for seven restaurants, including the Chesa Veglia in St. Moritz.
