George Tang

Biography

George Tang, a native New Yorker, worked in some of the finest restaurants in New York for almost 10 years after graduating from the Institute of Culinary Education. He has trained under celebrity chef Jonathan Waxman, Laurent Tourondel, and Nobu Matsuhisa. Starting his first job under Ignacio Mattos at ISA, he has went onto restaurants such as Freemans Restaurant, Arlington Club, Jams and currently a sous chef at Nobu57. New Territories is his first store in his culinary foray with partners, Peter Mei and Carmen Lau.
