Ken Addington is a chef, restaurant consultant, owner and operator, with an impressive culinary pedigree and over 30 years experience. He’s widely regarded as an astute restaurateur and businessman, that adds a modern, elegant touch to rustic cuisine, balancing classic techniques with contemporary style.
A native New Yorker, Ken ascended the ranks under esteemed chefs Thomas Keller (Rakel), Geoffrey Zakarian (44 at The Royalton, Patroon and Town), Terrance Brennan (Picholine), and David Pasternack (Esca) before parlaying his skills into opening restaurants in New York City and Sydney, Australia.
In 2008, he joined Five Leaves Group. Under his leadership, Five Leaves Café became an iconic Brooklyn fixture and one of the busiest restaurants in New York. This led to a successful partnership with Ace Hotels that included the opening of L.A. Chapter in Downtown Los Angeles and the revamp of Kings Highway at the Ace Hotel and Swim Club in Palm Springs. Strangeways, Ken’s most recent project, was opened in August, 2020.
