Kevin Chojnowski, whose pedigree includes multiple award-winning kitchens, brings over 20 years of experience with him to The Standard Grill. Kevin began his culinary career at the age of 10, spending his summers working in the fields of a nearby produce farm in Vermont where he grew up. Kevin Chojnowski, whose pedigree includes multiple award-winning kitchens, brings over 20 years of experience with him to The Standard Grill. Kevin began his culinary career at the age of 10, spending his summers working in the fields of a nearby produce farm in Vermont where he grew up. At age 14, he traded in the farm fields for a chef’s coat and dove into a profession he’d soon fall in love with. Kevin attended The New England Culinary Institute and upon graduation, moved to New York City where he studied under James Beard Award-winning chef Todd English at Olives, initially as a line cook and ultimately as the Chef de Cuisine. Most notably, Kevin was the Chef de Cuisine at PUBLIC, where he helmed the kitchen, maintaining its Michelin Star during his three year tenure. Kevin’s focus on seasonality brings brightness to The Standard Grill classics, adding a Mediterranean influence and memorable bold flavors.
