Though, fairly new to the market, it sure is making a name for itself by being in the newly released cook book “The World Eats Here”, at the Queens Rockefeller Center Outpost, at the Queens and Bronx Night Markets, the Famous Food Festival and at the World’s Fare, just to name a few; with its Famous Codfish Balls served with a mango sauce and it’s customer picked, refreshing tamarind drink. La’Maoli is said to bring all show stopper dishes with erotic flavors that keeps customers coming back.
La’Maoli, which means “The Natural” or “The Native” came into existence in 2016 by Laura Joseph, a young, independent, black woman with soaring goals and dreams. Growing up in the Caribbean with parents that were always catering; was what grew her fascination for wanting to share the love and passion used to create all their dishes, which are each made with, fresh herbs and spices, bold flavors, vibrant colors and exfoliating and pallet satisfying, natural ingredients. La’Maoli promises to take all it’s customers on a flavorful food roller coaster.
