Biography

Alvaro Munoz Honiball hails from Heredia, Costa Rica. From an early age he developed a passion for food and it’s transformative power. Alvaro moved to the United States to pursue his professional studies at the Culinary Institute of America, graduating in 2013. He went on to work in Gramercy Tavern, where he developed a strong affliction for fresh, seasonal produce.

Alvaro joined the Dante team in August 2020 as the culinary director of both Dante’s locations.
