Nate Kuester is the Executive Chef at NARO, overseeing all back of house operations.

Nate began his career in 2011 working the pizza ovens of a small-town, family-owned Italian restaurant. After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America in 2014, Nate moved to NYC where he gained experience at several fine-dining establishments, notably Cafe Boulud, The Cecil, and Aquavit. Soon after the start of the COVID pandemic, he co-founded Grub for Guardians, a donation-based initiative providing free meals to front line health care workers. In the fall of 2020, Nate began his professional foray into Korean cuisine by opening BapBap, a small counter service restaurant showcasing his take on simple Korean fare. In the spring of 2021, he began his tenure at Atoboy, leading the kitchen as Chef de Cuisine.
