More about Nima Etemadi
What is your favorite restaurant in NYC? It's been five years since I lived in NYC, but I still miss brunch at Stone Park Cafe in Brooklyn. What is your ultimate meal? Persian food, always. Especially homemade. What three things are always in your pantry? Saffron, sumac, and hoisin sauce. If you weren't a chef, what would you be? A ceramicist. I love the zen of wheel-throwing. What is the best advice you have ever been given, and from whom? Become world famous and have as many girlfriends as possible. Not gold-diggers, though. --My grandmother, Maman Fati
