Biography

Oliviero Borgna is the CDC of Market Table under the guidance of Executive Chef’s and owners Joey Campanaro and Mike Price. Born in Italy and raised in NYC he grew up in a family where food was at the center of every activity. After graduating from Colby College in 2011 he began his professional career as an Industrial Designer before transitioning a few years later to the hospitality industry. Oliviero Borgna is the CDC of Market Table under the guidance of Executive Chef’s and owners Joey Campanaro and Mike Price. Born in Italy and raised in NYC he grew up in a family where food was at the center of every activity. After graduating from Colby College in 2011 he began his professional career as an Industrial Designer before transitioning a few years later to the hospitality industry. He began in the front of house but quickly realized his skillset and upbringing made him more suited to the kitchen and was asked to be the opening chef of the Saraghina Tapas Bar in Bedford-Stuyvesant. His next stop was to open the small Italian restaurant named Pietro Nolita that is now know as the most instagrammable restaurant in the city. After some time spent traveling and gaining inspiration abroad he returned to the West Village of his childhood to work with the events team for Blackfoot Hospitality and joined the team in opening the newly revamped Market Table.
