What is your favorite NYC restaurant? And what is your go-to dish? Living on the Lower East Side, I'm lucky to be so close to Kat'z Deli. There's nothing like a corned beef with mayo and swiss cheese on rye bread. What is your ultimate meal? My ultimate meal with be pernil, arroz con gandules, and potato salad. This has become Que Chevere's signature meal as it is hearty and lifts people's spirits. What three things are always in your pantry? Beans (of all sorts), rice, and tomato sauce. If you weren't a chef, what would you be? I'd be an advocate for children with autism. My son is autistic and I would be honored to be able to help improve other autistic children's lives. If you could cook with anyone, who would that be? Martha Stewart, she is a legend! What’s your favorite NYCWFF memory? Being selected to participate in this year's Elvis Duran's Taste of New York!
