Zach and Zoe’s Sweet Bee Farm offers a wide variety of raw, wildflower honey mixed with organic superfoods, including matcha, lavender, rice protein and vanilla, lemon, ginger, raspberry, blueberry, beetroot, and passion flower. Other products include candles, honey sticks, and lip balm.
Zach and Zoë Sweet Bee Farm was founded by Summer Johnson in 2016 after a large honey harvest the year prior. Her husband Kam became a novice bee keeper when their youngest child, Zachary, began suffering from terrible seasonal allergies, they sought out natural remedies, including raw honey, to alleviate his symptoms. A neighbor suggested they keep bees and harvest their own honey on their 5-acre farm in Hunterdon County. After their first honey harvest, they began selling their goods at local markets in New Jersey and through their online store. The Chelsea Market location is their first location in New York City.
“We are excited about being a part of the neighborhood and serving the community! We have met people from all over the world as a part of Chelsea Market. We are having a great time in NYC!”

What is your favorite NYC restaurant? And what is your go-to dish? Bubby's is still one of the Johnson Family Favorites! Zach and Zoe love the pancakes and biscuits! Their jam is still unstoppable. There are some fantastic options for me and Hubby including their hues ranchers and their honey glazed parfait! What is your ultimate meal? We were in Dubai and we had the whole spread nan, camel, the works! Then the South of France has about three bakeries on one block... so you can fuel up before a morning excursion to the next little town of the day. Then there is a rotisserie guy, across the street from La Bouillabaisse in St. Tropez that is the best street food/bodega food ever! So I don't really have an ultimate meal but meal experiences. One more though... In Sydney I was able to get into Peter Gilmore's Restaurant, Quay, so if I had one ultimate meal... I would let that team orchestrate it again! Unbelievably amazing! What three things are always in your pantry? Fresh Herbs ie. rue...and Flowers... So pretty with honey! Fresh fruits and veggies, and bread for the babies! If you weren't a chef, what would you be? I am not a chef, I am a visual artist, and I am also a foodie and farmer- I have a location in Chelsea Market where we sell our amazing Honey with organic super foods! So if I was not an artist, I would be a chef! If you could cook with anyone, who would that be? Anthony Bourdain... What’s your favorite NYCWFF memory? I have never been.. The children and I have always dreamed of going to all of the Food Network and Food Channel Events! We are so excited! We have watch every season of Food Network Stars! But, our fondest memory of Chelsea is by far the first day we moved into our store! We have had two other store locations but we love to meet new people from all over the world and see how they react to the honey! We are so grateful to be a part!
