Chef Mayra Munoz originally from Quito, Ecuador, has been working in NYC restaurants for the past thirteen years. She began her culinary career as a pastry cook at Gansevoort Hotel restaurant. She has worked for such restaurants as The Chowder House, Zengo, STK Steakhouse rising through the ranks to ultimately become the chef of the Highwater where she has been creating amazing tropical inspired dishes that blend flavors from the Pacific Islands to the Caribbean from South East Asia to South America.
