Chef Zachary Taylor Bio:
Chef Zachary Taylor grew up in the Pacific Northwest, he found his first restaurant job when he was just 16 years old. At 18, he was offered his first kitchen position as a line cook at Chandler’s Restaurant in Seattle. The Executive Chef took Zachary under his wing by helping him apply at the Culinary Institute of America where he later graduated.
Upon graduation, Zachary brought his culinary skills to Las Vegas, working as Chef De Partie at the Bellagio Hotel and then as Executive Sous Chef at Vdara Hotel & Spa. In 2011, he moved to New York to work for STARR Restaurants as a Sous Chef at Buddakan. There, he climbed the culinary ranks for several years before he was appointed Chef de Cuisine for the reopening of Pastis in 2019, Stephen Starr and Keith McNally’s iconic French bistro in Manhattan’s Meatpacking District. In January 2022, Zachary returned to Buddakan as Co-Executive Chef.
