Zaro Brothers

Zaro’s is an iconic family-owned, New York City-founded bakery with locations throughout New York City and New Jersey. The first Zaro’s bakery was opened in the Bronx in 1927 by Joseph Zaro, a Jewish immigrant from Poland. Today Zaro’s Family Bakery is helmed by Joseph’s great-grandsons, Michael, Brian and Scott Zaro. Year over year Zaro’s welcomes over 3 million customers in stores alone and sells over 1.5 million Bagels, 90,000 Black and White Cookies and 1 million cups of coffee.
