DESCRIPTION
Calling all pasta enthusiasts! Take an eternal bite of la dolce vita as we turn the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) into a Roman trattoria for a night. The culinary cool kids of Roscioli will be putting on a pasta-making master class that will help make your fusilli and farfalle, your spaghetti and strozzapreti, your rigatoni and ravioli jump with zest and verve from the plate to the palate.
The Roscioli family, who have owned a beloved set of eating institutions in the center of Rome since 1992 and now run a hard-to-get-into trattoria in SoHo, will demonstrate how to make pasta from scratch like a real Roman chef.
Best of all, after the Roscioli family show you the pasta-making ropes, demonstrating the secrets of semolina flour and water, along with traditional kneading and rolling techniques, you’ll get to indulge in this pasta extravaganza, devouring traditional Roman-accented dishes that are so good you’ll think you were sitting at an outside table on Piazza Navona.
