A Comfort Food Cookout with Two of NYC’s Most Iconic Chefs
One of the great marvels of the NYCWFF Intimate Dinner Series is when two talented chefs are miraculously matched up to see what kind of culinary masterpiece they might create. Case in point: we’re putting celebrated chef Marcus Samuelsson, of the Red Rooster and recently opened Hav & Mar and chef Jonathan Waxman, of beloved West Village eatery Barbuto, in the same kitchen for one night only. The culinary synergy for this sit-down dinner at Harlem speakeasy Ginny’s Supper Club will be one for the ages. You and a small number of other diners will get to witness the culinary alchemy that will take place on this magical evening. It will be a meal of feel-good fare, comfort food inspired by the American South and by Italy that is deceptively simple yet with big, energetic flavors that pop on the palate.
Wine pairings will be provided by Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits.
