Both Alon Shaya and Andrew Zimmern are James Beard Award winning chefs and authors with vast global influences on their culinary styles. Shaya was born in Israel, raised in Philadelphia and has spent most of his culinary career in New Orleans. He prides himself on telling a love story through his cooking at his restaurants Miss River, Saba and Safta. He will be joined by Emmy and James Beard Award-winning chef and TV personality Andrew Zimmern, one of the most knowledgeable culinary authorities around. Witness firsthand as these two masterminds come together to create a multi-course menu that tracks the Mississippi River from Minneapolis to New Orleans, highlighting the range in proteins and seasonings from top to bottom. The pair will be programing the whole evening with a playlist to get you in the spirit, tableside plating of their signature entrées and maybe even a little something fiery to round out the night! The meal will be accompanied by enticing, non-alcoholic mixed drinks prepared with products from Boisson.
Wine pairings will be provided by Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits.
