Tacos and tequila are the perfect culinary pairing, the food version of a viral Meet Cute story.

Back by (very) popular demand, our tacos and tequila night is a south-of-the-border bonanza where tortillas meet tequila and everything from birria to barbacoa, al pastor to pollo will be stuffed into freshly made corn and flour tortillas.

Hosted by Food Network chef, author and restaurateur Michael Voltaggio, this extravagant walk-around fiesta will feature taco makers from New York’s best taquerias who will be slinging tortillas and stuffing them with both traditional and creative ingredients. Even better, there will be a wide array of tequilas to sip and savor, to swig straight or stirred into a cocktail.

This year, the fiesta of fun will take place at a new NYCWFF venue: Hall des Lumières in lower Manhattan. With its interior projecting stunning images on the walls and ceilings, it’s the perfect spot to get this party going.
