Dinner hosted by Jet Tila and Cédric Vongerichten

Prepare your palate for a Southeast Asian eating extravaganza. Famed chefs Jet Tila, a Los Angeles-based master of Thai cuisine, and Cédric Vongerichten, whose lower Manhattan restaurant, Wayan, is much lauded for its excellent Indonesian fare, are teaming up for one night only to bring you a delightful array of Southeast Asian-inspired dishes.

Celebrate Wayan’s 5th anniversary with a traditional, Indonesian Liwetan dinner. Liwetan is a tradition from East Java, Indonesia, in which friends and family enjoy a meal served on banana leaves to mark a special ritual, life stage, or celebration. They also serve cocktails in coconuts for an extra dose of tropical flair.

This evening of culinary fireworks will all be happening at Wayan, Cédric Vongerichten’s stylish Indonesian eatery in Nolita. Expect to be wowed with spicy noodles, juicy dumplings, and succulent rice dishes from two master chefs.

Wine pairings will be provided by Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits.
