For almost a decade, the Leung family has been sharing their recipes and travels with their robust online community through their celebrated website, The Woks of Life. Parents Judy and Bill, along with their daughters Sarah and Katilin, have become trusted sources of education on Chinese ingredients and better-than-takeout versions of Chinese dishes. Lucky for us, the whole family will be bringing their culinary talents to NYCWFF for a very special hands-on class celebrating their upcoming cookbook, The Woks of Life. Spend the morning in the kitchen with your family learning how to make Siu Mai, Dan Dan Noodles, Three Cup Chicken and Eggplant with Garlic Sauce along with tips and tricks that will help you bring their everyday Chinese recipes into your own home.
Guests will receive a copy of the Leung family’s upcoming cookbook, The Woks of Life: Recipes to Know and Love from a Chinese American Family (Clarkson Potter, November 2022).
Participants in this class are required to wear masks when not actively eating or drinking.
