The Cookout presented by Mike's Amazing returns to NYCWFF as the ultimate closing-night celebration, bringing together incredible food, legendary entertainment and the energy that has made this event a beloved Festival tradition.

Curated and hosted by FIELDTRIP Chef and Founder JJ Johnson, alongside iHeart radio personality Angela Yee of Way Up with Angela Yee, with a special appearance by EGOT winner and cultural trailblazer Whoopi Goldberg, this high-energy rooftop party celebrates Black cuisine as a powerful form of storytelling, creativity and cultural expression. Guests will enjoy dishes from an exceptional lineup of Black chefs and restaurants, highlighting the ingredients, techniques and traditions that continue to shape today’s culinary landscape.

As the sun sets, the energy turns all the way up with a live performance by hip-hop icon Method Man. With unlimited cocktails, beer and wine flowing throughout the evening, the celebration unfolds against a soundtrack of legendary music, incredible food and nonstop good vibes.
