Founded in 2019, Fluffy Algodón began as Alejandra’s passion project. In her home country of Colombia, what started small quickly gained a large following. The immediate popularity of her creative cotton candy designs — especially her amazing sculptures of animals and beloved cartoon characters — turned a weekend side-project into a full-time business. By 2021, Alejandra brought her talent, creative ingenuity, and entrepreneurial spirit to New York City. Opening under a humble tent on a Manhattan street corner, her passions for art, sweet treats, and business quickly burst onto the NYC scene. What set Fluffy Algodón apart wasn’t just the sweetness of cotton candy, but the artistry behind it.
