My first real job was at a clothing store and I hated it. My father was a pastor in the community and he had some connections and the only favor he did for me was introduced me to Ed the owner of The Shrimp box on Lenox. Now I’m 15 years old sometimes going to school in the day , in the afternoon working at The Shrimp box and running the streets at dusk. This was the beginning of my mastery of a double life. The fish job wasn’t paying enough but I fell in love with the Culinary Arts when I made a Philly cheese steak sandwich for a radio personality and he talked about it on the radio. That feeling of him describing how much he enjoyed my sandwich made me want to become a Chef. I made someone enjoy just a moment in life with my creation; now I wanted to give everyone that moment of joy.

My wife now but girlfriend then made me appreciate life and opened my eyes to a life that I thought was fictional. My thinking was all wrong at the time but I made a complete change after meeting her. I graduated from New York Restaurant School and obtained my Bachelor degree in Business from Berkeley College.

Throwing parties, bus trips and gatherings while running a Catering business Sous Chef at Justins, Amy Ruths and manager at other restaurants until I met Chef Charles Gabriel and partnered with him to launch multiple restaurants under his new brand!
