family full of arguably some of the best cooks around, it was only natural that it would be
something that would eventually evolve into a true passion. Food being the forefront of every
gathering, every party and every special event fascinated her. She loved how it always had the
ability to bring people together, no matter the occasion, and felt no better satisfaction than when
people expressed how pleased they were with her creations. The idea of being able to make
someone’s day just from something as simple as a cookie, or being a crucial part of someone’s
special day, gave Raechel a sense of purpose and pleasure knowing that she was able to make a
difference in some way.
Raechel began her culinary exploratition at a very young age by first learning from her mother, who
also had a love for baking. This gradually progressed into taking on projects of her own,
completely taking over her grandmother’s kitchen and dining room. She became the go–to for all
things sweet, with the focus being on special occasion cakes, for close friends and family, and
soon aHer, for many people within the community as well. When she realized this was something
she wanted to pursue as a career, she decided to further her knowledge and attendedThe
Culinary Institute of America, where she graduated with a degree in Baking & Pastry Arts.
Since then, Raechel has had the opportunity to gain a wide variety of experience within the
industry, in hopes of continuing to develop her expertise, and fine tune her craft. Even years aHer
her tenure began, the same still reigns true today. She’s excited to not only continue to expand
her knowledge at Pop’s and at The Hudson Rose, but also loves having the ability to make even
the smallest impact on as many people’s day as she possibly can, the best way she knows how!
