Craig Samuel is one the founding members of B+C Restaurant Group (BCRG). The group is a Brooklyn based collection of restaurants and cafes with a common Southern theme, which includes Peaches, Peaches HotHouse, Peaches Shrimp and Crab, and Peaches Events and their first restaurant The Smoke Joint.

After attending Temple University and The Restaurant School in Philadelphia, Craig returned to New York and embarked on a thirty-year career as a chef in fine dining restaurants. During that period he worked in New York, Philadelphia, Paris, Spain and Miami.

In 2005, while working at City Hall Restaurant in Manhattan as the Executive Chef, Craig approached his friend and fellow chef, Ben Grossman, who was also working towards his own restaurant and suggested that they go into business together serving simple, accessible, handmade food.  The Peaches brand of restaurants followed and they have since garnered national attention for inventiveness and down home hospitality. B+C Restaurant Group has received many accolades and awards, most recently, Brooklyn Magazine’s Lifetime Achievement Award and The 50 Most Influential People in Food Award.

After numerous appearances on food shows such as Diners Drive-Ins and Dives, the Food Network’s Chopped and Unique Eats, Craig is now regularly featured as a judge on Beat Bobby Flay.

Craig lives in Crown Heights with his wife, Laura, and has two children.
