DESCRIPTION
Fried Chicken Meets Chutney
If Nashville and New Delhi somehow collided, it would taste a lot like the food of Maneet Chauhau, Food Network star, cookbook author and executive chef and owner of the highly celebrated restaurant Maneet Ale & Masala House, in Nashville, Tennessee. Maneet specializes in globally influenced Indian cuisine, marrying her Indian roots with her love of her adopted home, the American South, to create Indian fare with worldly flavors, especially Southern flare. It’s the intersection where Nashville fried chicken meets chutney. In her master class, you’ll get hands-on in the kitchen. Maneet will teach a small group of participants the basics of Indian cuisine as well as how to blend it with other worldly ingredients to create dishes that are rooted in tradition yet reflect the diverse world we’re living in.
